Tender Loving CancerColourPop Tender Loving Cancer Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($9.00 for 0.21 oz.) includes two shimmer shades (lavender, light duochrome) and two matte shades (dusty coral and blackened plum). One of the shimmer shades was sheerer and thinner, while the three remaining shades were a little powdery/drier. Overall, it was decent product but would benefit from an eyeshadow primer and someone who prefers to use their shimmers damp/with a fingertip. Ingredients

So DevotedSo Devoted is a medium-dark lavender with cooler undertones and warmer, soft gold shimmer and larger flecks of sparkle. It had opaque pigmentation paired with a soft, more loosely-pressed texture, but there was enough binder in the formula that if I pressed and patted it into place, it had good adhesion with minimal fallout. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably. FURTHER READING: Formula Overview for details on general performance and characteristics (like scent). Top Dupes
Formula Overview$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours. The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush. Browse all of our ColourPop Pressed Powder Shadow swatches.

In My FeelsIn My Feels has an almost transparent base chocked full of blue-to-violet shifting pearl. The texture was more emollient and thinner, so it did apply best with a fingertip or a dampened brush for higher coverage. With a dry brush it had more medium, somewhat buildable pigmentation. It wore well for eight hours before fading a bit. FURTHER READING: Formula Overview for details on general performance and characteristics (like scent). Top Dupes

It had nearly opaque color coverage paired with a lightweight, spreadable consistency that was more watery and thin, but still managed to go on evenly and kept its coverage level in the first layer. The formula was quick to dry down to a transfer-resistant finish that felt flexible and fairly comfortable to wear. This shade wore well for four and a half hours and felt non-drying over time. FURTHER READING: Formula Overview for details on general performance and characteristics (like scent). Top Dupes
Formula Overview$40.00/0.2 oz. - $200.00 Per Ounce The formula is supposed to have "ultra-intense, ultra-matte, longwearing lip colour" that "fuses" for "lightweight" and "comfortable coverage." The coverage was more semi-opaque than "ultra-intense," but the finish was flat, matte after the product dried down. A second layer could be applied for more pigmentation (once the initial layer set). The initial texture was thin, more watery and fluid than I expected, and it almost seemed more like a blotted effect after it dried down. The product had marginally more stretch and flexibility to it after dry down, so it was more comfortable to wear and felt very lightweight on. I would recommend exfoliating prior to applying this formula to ensure a smoother application. They lasted between five and six hours and felt non-drying for the most part. There was a very subtle, floral scent but no discernible taste. Browse all of our Chanel Rouge Allure Ink Matte Liquid Lip Colour swatches. Rouge Imprevu (844)Chanel Rouge Imprevu (844) Rouge Allure Ink Matte Liquid Lip Colour ($40.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a brighter, pinky-red with cool undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one layer, which could be built up by applying a second coat on top (but wait for the initial layer to dry down). The liquid lipstick had a smooth, very thin consistency that felt watery but had a little more substance to it, which allowed the product to spread across my lips but go on evenly overall. It had a similar depth compared to Hazelnut, but the undertone was warmer and richer, more reddish overall. It had medium, buildable pigmentation when applied with a brush and more semi-opaque, buildable coverage applied with a fingertip, though the formula was very spreadable and foregiving, so it was more apt to sheer out if going in a direction. The texture was lightweight, smooth, and moderately emollient with a thin feel that turned to a more powder-like finish as it was applied and blended out on my skin. This shade lasted nicely for eight hours before showing signs of fading. P.S. — You can see this shade as a bronzer/contour on deeper skin tones here and here. FURTHER READING: Formula Overview for details on general performance and characteristics (like scent). Top Dupes
Formula Overview$35.00/0.4 oz. - $87.50 Per Ounce The formula is supposed to be "buildable" and to "melt effortlessly" into a "matte, second-skin seamless finish" that can be applied "on bare skin" or "on top of makeup." They can be used to add warmth and/or definition (by choosing a shade two to three deeper). The texture was emollient, lightweight, and thin with moderate glide, which made them work well on top of bare skin as well as layered on top of foundation, even more matte bases. They seemed more pigmented upon swatching on my arm, but in practice, they had medium coverage that was easy to sheer out further or build up for greater coverage if desired. The reason for this was because the formula had enough glide and spread that it naturally sheered out during application, so one had to layer for truly opaque coverage. For higher coverage, apply with fingertips and give it a little time to dry down before blending. For sheerer coverage, apply with a stippling brush. It was a very forgiving formula and hard to overdo. The formula dried down to a more matte finish but seemed to let my skin come through, so it didn't appear flat or dry. They wore well for eight hours before fading visibly on me. Browse all of our Anastasia Cream Bronzer swatches. via Temptalia https://ift.tt/3gIHn1R ReflectionColourPop Reflection Super Shock Shadow is a darker, coppery-brown base with flecks of fine red and gold sparkle throughout. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied somewhat unevenly as the base seemed to clump up a bit, so it was harder to get a really nice, even layer that didn’t look unblended. The texture was more emollient than the average shade within this formula as well. It lasted decently for nine hours before fading a bit. FURTHER READING: Formula Overview for details on general performance and characteristics (like scent). Top Dupes
Formula Overview$6.00/0.07 oz. - $85.71 Per Ounce ColourPop Super Shock Shadow is a cream-based formula that comes in a multitude of shades and finishes. The more metallic shades have the most slip to them (they have a “wetter” feel), while the more matte ones have a firmer, more clay-like consistency. Almost every shade I’ve tried from ColourPop has been exceptionally long-wearing (10+ hours of wear, usually there until I remove, even 14 hours later). The pigmentation can vary from shade to shade, but the average shade is quite pigmented. From feedback I’ve seen from readers, many love them but some don’t like them at all. They aren’t a traditional cream eyeshadow, as they are denser (more sponge-like), and they apply best with flat, firm, synthetic brushes (I like the MAC 242 and 249) for me. The brand recommends using fingers for the most pigmented application, but I’ve only felt that fingers were necessary on a few shades (usually the super glittery ones). The more matte shades can be on the drier side and vary from medium to opaque in coverage, though they're often buildable. They can be a little hard to diffuse the edges of, though some are lovely to work with. The more glittery shades have been the weakest to me, as they can be sheerer or harder to apply. Sometimes, they are more pigmented and work like the other finishes in the formula, but often, they are sheerer and only function well patted on top of more pigmented eyeshadows to add glitter. They do, however, tend to have little fallout over time with the occasional shade having a more moderate amount of fallout (but still less fallout than most powder eyeshadows with glitter). The texture was lightweight, emollient and wet to the touch but quickly turned to a powder-like finish once it came into contact with my skin. It wore well for 10 hours without fading or creasing. Down in New OrleansColourPop Down in New Orleans Super Shock Shadow is a light green with moderate, warm undertones and iridescent micro-sparkle throughout. It had medium to semi-opaque color coverage, which did not build up that well. The texture was slightly more emollient than is typical for the formula, which likely contributed to the somewhat uneven application and sheerer coverage. It lasted well for nine hours before fading noticeably. FURTHER READING: Formula Overview for details on general performance and characteristics (like scent). Top Dupes

I felt like the colors worked well together with the exception of the gold (#3), which seemed oddly warm-toned compared to other shades in the palette. The majority of the eyeshadows were pigmented, blendable, and easy to work with, though there was one shimmer shade that was sheerer and worked more as a topper/iridescent layer of shine and sparkle (which I know some enjoy!). Jaguar #1Jaguar #1 has a medium-dark, slightly warmed-up taupe base with lighter, grayish-taupe shimmer and sparkle that yielded an intensely metallic finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, almost cream-powder consistency that wasn’t overly dense, so it picked up well with a dry brush but could certainly be intensified with a wet brush. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly. Top Dupes

Jaguar #5Jaguar #5 seemed to have a grayish, slightly translucent base packed full with multi-dimensional shimmer that gave it a purplish-black appearance with pops of pink and silver sparkle. It had medium color coverage, which didn’t really build up, but the effect was shiny and sparkly so for some, that might work just fine. The consistency was lightly emollient, which helped a lot of the shimmer/sparkle adhere and minimized fallout. It wore decently for eight hours with light fallout over time. Top Dupes

Jaguar #9Jaguar #9 is a darker, warm plum base with flecks of lighter purple and greenish-gold micro-sparkle throughout. The eyeshadow had mostly opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin with slight fallout during the initial application. It had medium pigmentation that was somewhat buildable but applied evenly and comfortably across my lips. The texture was lightweight, thinner but not clingy, and didn’t emphasize lip texture. It wore nicely for three and a half hours and was lightly moisturizing while worn. This shade may be a UK-exclusive (I purchased mine from Selfridges, which does ship to the US) and is not currently available at US retailers. Formula Overview$22.00/0.1 oz. - $220.00 Per Ounce The formula is supposed to have "sheer, buildable colour" that is moisturizing, while also being long-wearing with "six hours" of shine and "eight hours" of color. First and foremost, these have an unexpectedly long long-wearing claim. Eight hours of wear is a feat for any lipstick, let alone one that is sheerer, more luminous, and hydrating. It likely comes as no shock that they did not wear close to eight hours. The wear ranged from three to four hours, which was in line with other, more luminous formulas of similar coverage-level and was a little longer than the average Lustre lipstick in the past (though more consistent with recently released Lustres). The updated take on the Lustre finish is more emollient, creamier, and has more consistent coverage. It is still a lighter-weight, thinner consistency relative to MAC's other lipsticks and most other lipstick formulas on the market. The colors that were brought back in the new formula were fairly consistent with the prior versions. Most of the shades applied evenly, didn't seem to catch or emphasize texture imperfections on my lips, and weren't prone to settling into my lip lines. That being said, the current range is heavier on mid-tones, and it is often very light shades that can be the culprits of both. The coverage ranged from semi-sheer to medium, and most shades were buildable to semi-opaque coverage, though they tended to wear down to more medium coverage within an hour or so of wear. I found that once some of the shine wore down, e.g. if one drank from a glass of water or blotted lightly, the color that remained was more like the initial layer of product. They were vanilla-scented but had no discernible taste. Browse all of our MAC Lustreglass Sheer-Shine Lipstick swatches. I Deserve ThisMAC I Deserve This Lustreglass Sheer-Shine Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a medium-dark, reddish-brown with warm undertones and a natural finish. It had semi-sheer pigmentation that could be built up to medium coverage if desired. The texture was lightweight, thin but not clingy, and had just enough slip that it glided on comfortably but did not feel slippery while worn. The color went on fairly evenly, but it could have been more even overall. It lasted well for three hours and felt lightly moisturizing while worn.
